I just spent 3 months in Utah, which was mostly a time of solitude. I would go out into the forest, into the hills, or alongside the canal, and was reminded of God by the flowing rivers, the light on the water, sunsets, soaring birds, every cloudless vast sky and cloud-filled sky. After almost two years of extensive traveling and being so activated with those I was with, this phase took a moment to accept. But once it was fully accepted, each day had a Gift... spaciousness... timelessness...

And then it was time for a shift... my heart was calling to join and extend in a different way...

On a phone call with my friend Suzanne, the invitation arose to come to Ajijic, with a joyful offer to stay in Rita's apartment while she is away. I truly don't know anything other than to trust, accept, and follow what supports my heart to open... allowing the continual dissolution into the light...

Immediately after this shift was clear, I found myself writing about mysticism, and designing a Mysticism page on my website as a place to keep sharing the Presence that inspires so deeply. This kind of a sign is everything to me. Expansion, openness, Presence... Once I was on the plane I fell into a deep peace... ever more pulled into awareness of dreaming - especially with such a movie-like dreamscape filled with guidelines and regulations for ‘safety’. It felt sweet, to see all of the care for making everyone feel safe… It truly is all the playing out of ideas. Thank God we know we are an Idea in the Mind of God - a Thought of Love, of Spirit, of Joy! And when we are in touch with Who we Are, and the simplicity of this being Everything, we are invulnerable - untouched by the thought of separation from Truth - which appears in so many different ways. The depth has continued... it feels like being anchored into God... while the next wave swells... anchored so that I don't get swept away… as there is a swirl here… but remain deeply present... watching, welcoming, and allowing what is to come in the next moment...

The holy encounters so far have involved tears of recognition and gratitude… simply meeting in the moment... as miracles happen. The malecon (lakeside boardwalk and paths) outside my front doorstep opened the day I arrived, having been closed for many weeks - so yet again I can walk and sit by the water. Thank you God... it feels brand new... as a reflection of mind renewed... ever more aware that it is all mind… reflections of mind.

There is a Jesus candle in front of me, and a meditating buddha looking out across the lake a short walk away 🥰

Each phase of the journey has a deep healing value when we fully appreciate it for exactly what it is - no more, no less - without comparing it to other phases or allowing limited thinking to cover it with veils of interpretation. Phases bring us face to face with exactly what we are Calling to see and transcend, and, like all healing moments, they are temporary.

In deep gratitude for what does not change, for that which is carrying us, surrounding us always, inviting us to be in the Light.

The life of Mysticism is one of devotion and reverence to God and therefore to all. It is a discipline of mind, of training the mind to hear and follow only the Voice for God. The goals are everlasting peace of mind and the humor, gentleness, happiness, freedom, and joy that flow from such a state of mind.

The life of Mysticism is as spontaneous and playful as it is serene and tranquil. Alive and energized by the living moment, the need for rituals and rules and structure falls away from the mind. Mysticism learns mastery through love and compassion and kindness, and every day is like a painting full of opportunities to extend the Love of God.

Mysticism is not ruled by fear of consequences. The Law of Love reigns supremely in Divine Mind, and there is no other. Love is without opposite, and this fact is finally approached and accepted without exception or compromise. In the Awakening it becomes clear that doubt is impossible.

Willingness to humbly accept oneself as a Spirit Child of God, created perfect in the likeness of God, grows and grows with each Holy Instant. The world of idols loses all of its former attraction as the heavenly light enfolds the heart of the mystic. When such vastness and magnitude become apparent, there is need of nothing else.

Meditation on the Divine is at first a practice, then a continuous living experience, until it finally yields to an eternally blissful and completely unalterable State of Being. Such is the State of Grace.

To move in the direction of this State of Absolute Being, the desires of the world of multiplicity must fall away. Miracles lead the way, for the way of the true mystic is approach to God through attraction, not through avoidance or opposition. As error is seen as false and without a real cause, its foundation disappears in the light of truth. Perfect love casts out fear, for belief has been withdrawn and replaced by the Knowledge of Life in God. There is no battle to be fought, only a gentle awakening to the truth of what always was and always will be so.

All things are accepted exactly as they are, for that which is eternal is unchanged, unchanging, and unchangeable. It is understood that no arrangement of circumstances, no sense of controlling persons, events, and situations, and no amount of gain or personal improvement is necessary to "attain" the peace and happiness that is available now. Only a yielding to truth, a surrender of the belief in illusions, a stepping back and putting full trust in God is required. This is no sacrifice. Can the giving up of nothing for the remembrance of Everything be a sacrifice? Joy has no cost, for Love is without an opposite.

Mysticism is finally yielding to Absolute Happiness in God and Self. Only the Mind which knows "I and the Father are One" knows Absolute Happiness.

Thank you, God, for leading us all Home to You. Your Way is certain, for your Plan cannot fail. Hallowed be your Name O God of Eternity, and hallowed be the Name of Your Beloved Child.

My heart is beating in the joy of God. My mind is resting in the peace of God. My soul is invulnerable in the strength of God. Mine eye is single in the light of God.

We are One. God is One. All is One.

Mysticism is a journey into the heart of God. The Presence of light filling our heart and mind is what we truly want. And when we realize this, for real, then forgiveness becomes more of a ‘letting things slide off’ experience, rather than a struggle to let go. It is when we stop holding on to any aspect of a situation as we we perceive it, that the struggle is no more.

Although this is a journey Home into Who we are, it is experienced as a journey into the unknown. Isn’t that wild! Who we are not is a self-concept that includes my 'self' and everyone / everything in my world as I am perceiving it. And to the extent that we keep maintaining this 'self' by believing in a thought system involving fear or division of any kind, we are blocking the light from our awareness. In other words, every situation in need of forgiveness is my mind, my ‘self’!

To have our mind filled with light is to have it empty of everything else. Which makes perfect sense… but wow… to keep letting go of ‘everything else’ feels like such a deep walk of trust. The belief in separation and fear of Love (of losing everything to this light - of being completely dependent on this light) runs deep, and gets triggered in so many different ways - although we don’t always recognize it for what it is.

We have to keep releasing the past to recognize our brother’s innocence and remember our true Identity as Spirit in this moment. This is our mission until loving thoughts are all that is left. A healed mind is one that knows only gratitude, fully aware that all things work/worked together for good. When this is known, the journey is seen to be exactly what was called for, for the full release of identification with that which I am not.

There is a doorway to freedom. It swings wide open and the light pours through as we turn our focus away from anything else within the ‘room of enclosed perception’ that we have boxed ourself into through false interpretations and beliefs. We can simply walk out!

What is being overcome with every seeming leap we take is the belief in separation; the belief that if I take this step there will be loss - that loss, abandonment, betrayal is possible.

The journey from littleness to magnitude is one of walking the path Given us to walk. We can’t walk another’s path, or wait to be told what ours is. Our heart shuts down if we delay, and it reopens immediately when we take the leap and move in the Given direction.

What if the leap is simply to turn our attention? To change our mind? It can be as simple as this. At other times there are leaps that involve changes in form that simply have to be taken… to be shown that it is not what we thought… it is for joy!

In deep gratitude and appreciation for every step taken on this journey - as we approach brick walls, and walk through veils.

Deep breaths...

With Love,
